How To Gaze

Gazing is one of the most simplest and enjoyable experiences you can undertake.

Gazing is almost the same as Doing Nothing. The main difference is that gazing has an object focus, and includes more concentration.

Vast and open spaces such are the clear blue sky are the most fun to gaze at.

How to gaze

To start out gazing you can lie down on your back and make yourself comfortable by getting pillows and blankets if you need to.
Once you are comfortable stare at the clear blue sky.

The sky is just the sky. Just that. Nothing to say about it or make a big deal of.

Gazing into your own mind.
Gazing into pure space.

Things to gaze at:

  • The clear blue sky.
  • The sky with white clouds.
  • The night sky.
  • The sea.
  • Mountains.
  • Waterfalls.
  • Fountains.
  • Rivers.
  • Trees.
  • Grass.
  • Fire, a campfire or a candle.
  • Graveyards.
  • Calm but stimulating things.

Things not to gaze at:

  • Screens such as TV, phones, laptops and so on.
  • Paintings, pictures, or photographs.
  • Text or symbols.
  • People.
  • Traffic.
  • Chaotic things.
